We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our Friends of the Library Board. As a Board Member, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our community by supporting and advocating for our local library.
In this volunteer position, you will work closely with other dedicated individuals who share a common goal of promoting literacy, fostering a love for reading, and enhancing library services for all.
Being a board member also involves :
In your role as a Board Member, you will actively participate in strategic planning, decision-making, organizing of fundraising events, engagement with community stakeholders and development of partnerships to ensure sustainability and growth of our organization. No experience is necessary. You will have the chance to contribute your unique skills and expertise to help shape the future of our library.
By joining our Friends of the Library group as a Board Member, you will not only have the opportunity to give back to your community but also gain valuable leadership experience and expand your professional network.

Bookstore Shift Substitute
Job description: Cover a shift in the Bookstore as needed. Lots of fun without an ongoing commitment. Training is provided. No experience is necessary.
Volunteer Grant Writer
Job Description: Research, write and submit proposals to grant-making organizations. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database development needed. No prior experience is necessary but needs ability to self-teach in a timely manner
