Welcome to the Bookstore

Stocked with an ever-changing assortment of great books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and vinyl records, the Bookstore should always be your first stop when you visit the Freeman Library. Almost everything is priced under $3 in the store, but check the shelves located on the second floor and in the lobby for even better buys!

All proceeds support the programs, services and collections of the Freeman Library.

Donate your books!

We welcome gently used books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, and LPs. We especially appreciate donations of children’s books! 

Donations are accepted at the Bookstore during regular Library hours. Please contact us if you need assistance with a large or special donation. (832) 927-5444.

We do not accept encyclopedias or magazines.

We always love to see you in the store, but you might find just what you want in our online store!  

We aim to keep prices in our bookstore at $3 or lower but items priced higher than that can be found in our online store. There you will find the same type of inventory as in our store, as well as: 

• rare and vintage books, CDs, LPs, and DVDs, 
• signed first editions, 
• textbooks, and 
• niche merchandise.
